El Mirador de Marbella, named after our neighborhood in Eastern Havana, Cuba, means “The Beautiful Sea Lookout”. While there’s no doubt this house has a memorable panoramic ocean view, we sincerely hope that as a visitor you’ll appreciate the property’s external beauty, but also the inner beauty and warmth of our community. We literally took the plunge and built Cuba’s first ecological swimming pool here.

Our vision is to create tangible benefits for our family and neighbors – so not only can visitors to El Mirador de Marbella expect to meet some of those people on site, but we’re totally open to hooking up guests with different characters in the neighborhood and surrounding communities for interactive experiences and adventures, with the hope that visits and exchanges will result in a meaningful impact on the lives of local Cubans and visitors alike. The Property
El Mirador de Marbella comfortably sleeps up to 7 adults, but can also be an extraordinarily private oasis and observation deck for just a couple. Guests enjoy 2 large terraces for relaxing, catching sun or shade, floor exercises or yoga, and comfortable seating areas for conversation. The lower level has a shaded seating area, hammock, a ranch for outdoor dining and 1/2 bath.

Founded in 1800, Guanabo's the only one of Havana's Eastern Beaches that also features a town, and given its relatively proximity to Cuba's urban capital, it's pleasantly small. Havana's Eastern Beaches appear from west to east in this order: Bacuranao, Tarara, Megano, Mar Azul, Santa Maria, Mi Cayito, Boca Ciega, Guanabo, Veneciana, Brisas del Mar, and Rincon de Guanabo. It's a perfect destination to unwind if you're looking to avoid the hustle & bustle of mainstream tourism, while remaining relatively close to Havana's cultural opportunities.
